Snow Drop Community Care helps individuals in building capacity of travelling independently by using our travel assistance and transport service. This service will allow them to use the public transport or related equipment and aids. It goes along with community participation, social as well as daily life activities by using our special transport arrangements and taxis.
You are given an option to have access to rideshares, taxis, and other suitable methods of transport.
You may be assigned a support worker who drives you around and accompanies you as you travel, whether it is to the social events, your shopping trip, or for your medical appointments.
You can take lessons to manage your transport on your own. We will help you in determining the eligibility for funding the exercises of capacity building for driving lessons or public transport training. After taking the lessons, you can own a vehicle. We will help you in modifying your vehicle so it can accommodate your disability.
Drop Off and Pick Up Services for some Locations
We offer a drop-off and pick-up service to help you with your travel and transport requirements. We can find a supportive driver who will take you from one location to the other. All our drivers are well trained and they know about your requirements and needs.
